If I do not have a job booked after you, I will usually stay. If you just need an extra day or night while I am there, just ask! I do appreciate a little advance notice as if you have given me off days, I might have planned a trip to explore your area. When at all possible I will put your needs first!

Every temporary job is different. Some parents want a nanny and also someone who can household management skills like oversee housecleaning, run errands, etc. Or they have 3+ children that need to attend activities outside of the house.

Or maybe the parents want to travel on a couple's vacation or business trip and need someone to cover the children and run the house for 24 hour days.

I do try to work within your budget as much as possible.

Maybe the time has come to hire your first full time nanny and you have not found the right one. What do you do--besides panic?! You hire someone like myself who can come in and do the full nanny service job for you while you continue to search.

Or if your nanny is going on vacation but you still have to work, you might just need a temporary nanny for a week or two.

Regardless of your reason, a temporary nanny is someone who should fit into the personality of your household (it is my job to mode to you!) and is someone who can take your list of needs and get the job done.

How do you know your children will like me or handle someone on a short term basis? Well, there is never a guaranteed but in 20 years I have never had a child that didn't bond to me! Maybe children just know who really cares about them!

Rates can very based on your needs but the starting hourly rate is $16 and will vary on the number of children, duties, etc. Flat weekly rates of a set number of hours can be established too.
